Introducing Direct Hire Capability

Introducing Direct Hire Capability
Do you need some content and don't want to run the risk of offering a job to hundreds of writers, unsure of who will accept your offer? Or maybe you're a writer and you need an easier way to tell somebody to hire you and not somebody else. Today at Contentgather, we are adding functionality to handle both scenarios. When viewing any writer's profile at Contentgather, you will now see a "Hire Me" button.

Contentgather direct hire

Click on that button, fill out the job details, and send your offer to the writer. The writer will have 5 days to accept or reject the offer. If he or she rejects the offer or does not respond within 5 days, the offer will either be canceled or will be made available to other writers. As a buyer making the offer, you specify what we should do with it if rejected or no response is received within 5 days.

Buyers, go out there and hire your favorite writers, and writers, remember to share your portfolio link and receive 5% referral bonus for anybody who signs up!

I don't see the "Hire Me" button on my profile. Is it only visible to buyers? Thanks!

Great question.

It is visible under the following circumstances:

- The profile that you are viewing is not your own (you can't hire yourself!)
- The profile that you are viewing is either a "Writer" or "Both"
- YOU are either a "Buyer" or "Both"

This Writer/Buyer/Both distinction is set in the Preferences in your account.

So how does the referral work. All I do is jus post it and let people decide on what they going to do? All I see is buyer or writer. How does this work?

Scorpious11: If you share your referral or portfolio link, anybody who joins Contentgather after clicking on your link will become your referral. If that person purchases content from Contentgather, you will receive 5% of everything they purchase in your account balance as well. If that person is a writer, and not a buyer, you'll receive 5% of all proceeds they receive from the content they sell. If one of your referrals buys and writes stuff, you'll still receive 5% from both types of transactions!

Hi, just joined the site yesterday as a writer and think it shows a lot of promise. I'm having difficulty seeing how often articles in the marketplace are actually purchased, can anyone weigh in on this? Also, I understand that this site is new. Is there anything being done to attract more buyers?

Fyodor: We have had about 25 articles sold to date, most in recent weeks. We spent the majority of our time during the first month or two recruiting writers and also building a solid collection of pre-written articles. We are happy with our progress there and have recently shifted focus towards promotion/advertising and also adding in new features. We're growing at a good pace here, buyers included.

Welcome to Contentgather! Glad to have you on board :)

Thanks for your response and info! Glad to see you are so eager to help out us writers. The site really seems like it is being run by people who know what they are doing!
