I learned how to read and write at a very young age, generally testing several grade/year levels ahead in primary school. My love for writing continued throughout my childhood, having written my first "book" around the age of ten. I also learned throughout my teenage years to enjoy conducting research, sometimes into the most random of topics.
Today, as an adult, my career did not take me along a path that resulted in very much writing, so I like to spend my spare time writing about topics that are interesting to me. I still conduct a significant amount of research on a regular basis, which helps enhance my knowledge and provide me with many topics on which to write.
